In this episode it was discovered by Hurley that the same numbers which he used to win lottery jackpot is the same in the Rousseau's documents. Hurley right away find Rousseau who says that she does not know what the numbers mean. She added that her party had originally drawn to the island by a radio transmission that was broadcasting the numbers. The numbers are also find out that it was engraved in the side of the hatch. In a flashback, Hurley here wins the lottery , and over the coming weeks , everyone around him suffers in bad luck. It was also revealed that the numbers originally got them in the same island.
